I was bored while it snowed over the weekend and made a plow

thanks for fixin the pics i even tried on the testing spot
all the parts are from my erector set and a piece of 4" pvc
the wire is temporary hopefully ill get a winch for xmas

well the icy snow didnt let me test it well today and its supposed to snow on thurs so hopefully everything will be working by then. and i really need the winch cause the plow kept hitting hard spots and the plow would go down and get the truck stuck

did you think to use a servo, thats what i did with mine works good (i was bored this weekend also) planning on changeing how the blade mounts though.

thats a good idea but im not that electronically inclined and i think my stock controler does not have an option for another servo unless i get rid of the rear steer
I also did some changes. the plow hookup to the brace is different so ill get pics asap

yes they are and i only had to drill 2 extra holes and cut and drill a piece of aluminum for a new brace

well some changes have to happen to the plow but once the bugs are gone ill pose the end product

yeah i was hoping to make a vid on thurs but wouldnt u know it no snow so i did some upgrading and now she'll plow like no other. gotta love the weatherman

i got a little engineering problem. so if i would hook up a winch to the plow it would not lift it cause the distance does not change when it lifts up. if anyone has an idea or more questions id appreciate it.



thats where it hinges. it used to be hinged down by the main bracket but it wasnt very strong.
