I recieved my test winchline's from Team3six.

"A" is a smaller diameter line than "B"
"A"is a more finer threading where as
"B" is more hefty

test line "A" green in color

test line "B" is black in color

video will be tommorrow, nice and in the 70's.
*tests*

vertical pull

and if the line survives ill do a test of my own..

Sounds good. I hear A is decent, but doesn't hold up to wear. Looking forward to your test.

if you were going to use line "A", would a sevo wintch work better. thinking if you made the spool bigger around on the inside so it's not wound so tight , think it might wear longer (might work better for the line maybe). both look good for wintch line. will be watching this to see how they both work. good job guys

TEST "A" VIDEO

in the video you see me helping the winch out(motor is going out)
and i try to ruff the line up on the rocks, you can hear the line popping
on the video.

double looped thru eye..

standard fishing knot..melted the end tag..

"THE HOOK"

"GET IT ON!"

TEST "A" DID ALL IT WAS SUPPOSED TO DO.
AND FOR THE AMOUNT OF RUFFING UP IT TOOK ON THE ROCKS
VERY LITTLE DAMAGE.

TEST "B"

i hope you dont mind norm but i had to swap the test subject..
ill do a test with the tj when its back up and running...
esc wont arm itself? .. today was not my day..

i used the montero i won in the scale4x4 charity drawing.
just a few oz's lighter than the tj.

TEST LINE "B" GETS MY VOTE!
DAMAGE FROM RUBBING ON THE ROCKS..

my only fault i see and its not a big one but one to note..
due to the larger diameter of the line "B" it didnt want to
unspool as easy as the smaller diameter line "A".
it started to birds nest when i relieved the tension on the line.
it kept getting wrapped around the outter edges of the spool.
