Default parma v8 engine

Does anyone know where I can find one of those parma 1/10th scale engines? I would prefer the chevy one but from what I hear it's hard to come by.

I found a few auctions on ebay that already ended and these engines ended up going for like $65-$75. Thats crazy. you would think with the scale crawlers being a big thing they would start producing these again or some other company would make them. I like to try to build all off the parts I can from scratch but a motor just seems to be out of my league.

If your planning on using the motor for a 1/10 build, I thought the Parma was too big. I used a motor from a 1/12 model kit.
Looked great once done and detailed. Buy the whole kit and you get other goodies to use as well for a nice scale interior.

contact Parma at 440-237-8650
or go to http://www.parmapse.com/
If you call, ask for Mark Mathis and enquire about purchasing the motor. He is my rep at parma.

Haha I was thinking if I can find them for cheap I'll buy as many as I can and just sell them.

Thanks for the offer, but it would really kill me to pay $50 for something that was originally only like $20. No offense or anything I know they're hard to find and they dont make them any more but it would really kill me to pay that much. I'm looking more around the $30 range.

What model kit did you use? I've been looking around the internet all night and the only thing I'm coming accros is a '57 chevy and a '69 camaro in 1/12 scale. They would both work I was just curious which one you found.

Sorry missed this. I got the 57 Chevy kit, comes with several different motor options.

Even the 1/12 reveille kits go for mid 50s to 60s on eBay all the time. The definitely fit the clod builds well. Even though they are listed at 1/10 the clods I believe are closer to a 1/12 body. Good luck on the Parma engine too, they go all day long for 60+ on eBay on the low end. If your really wanting one I'd jump on the offer that was given to you earlier.
