Default Got inspired to build

So recently I was reading through the boards and got inspired to do some wood work of my own. First up was a work table. Figured I would start with something easy.

Then I decided to make a picnic table.

Hope you like!

That stuff looks really good. Do plan on weather proofing them?

Looks good, I was just trying to think of other stuff to make from wood. Work bench is a great idea.

Yea I'm thinking of picking up a small container of stain and staining them. Think that will be good enough or should I look for an actual water proofer?

You might want to get a stain with sealer. Stain alone wont protect it.

Thanks for the info! This is my first time really working with wood! I'll stop by the hardware store this week.

Apparently my dog found a couple rolls of duct tape on the bottom shelf of the workbench!
