| Crowbar/Prybar
I fugured I needed to add a crowbar/prybar to my truck's tools, so I decided to make one. I have a ton of old allen wrenches that were stripped, dinged, rusty, etc. so I used one of those, large enough to look scale. I heated it with a torch to get the bends in, and to flatten the ends out a bit with a hammer. Then a little dremel time, and a dip in Blacken it to bring the color back I think it turned out O.K. |

It actually looks good. Your idea of using old Allen wrenches was a sweet one. |

Thanks! I was twirling an allen wrench in my hand while I was thinking about another issue I was trying to solve. I'd been using a crowbar earlier in the week, and realized that it looked the same as an allen wrentch, only much bigger. It was actually really quick and easy to make...maybe 30 minutes tops, most of which was spent heating it up cherry red with a little butane pencil torch that I use for soldering. It's shoe-goo'd into the bed of the truck...not sure if I can get a better shot of it. I'm going to make at least a couple more, though so I'll take a better shot of one BEFORE it goes into the truck |

I made another prybar, this one a bit smaller. Here are a couple of additional photos to show scale a bit better |
