|  tool box battery holder
so after a little research here and learning from all your builds, i started a scale build with a Boyer chassis and tundra body. i still have a long way to go but thought i'd share my battery box with you. made out of styrene, scale diamond plate aluminium and some hinges i pulled off my girlfriends jewelery box. I also could not find any builds that had latches on your tool boxes. i found these off of a Lowes gift card holder. i think it works pretty good. what do you think?   |

Is the diamond plate actual aluminum or the plastistruct stuff? Looks good either way, what are the dimensions?

the diamond plate is aluminum thin and covered over the styrene. box is 4 1/2 lenght 2 1/8 width and 1 5/8 tall. i made it to fit inside the cage of the boyer truggy.
