I had to use some silicon rtv the other day and after I was done I just took the nozzle off and put the cap back on. Well I had to use it again today and just used the blunt end of a wood skewer through the small end to push the dried rtv out so I could use it like I had many times before. And as usual it all came out intact. Then I had an idea. Now I haven't actually made a finished one but it seems like a good way to recycle the left over rtv. Cut the bottom off to desired height Glue to plastic square to the bottom. Paint orange or leave alone if you used orange rtv. |
