Default Justin's "Scale Garage" and "Photo Booth"...

First off, this isn't no Sam's garage(>>LINK<<) but I thought I would give it a shot. I have been thinking about making a scale garage for a few years now. So here I go, got the walls pretty much done. For the floors, I am just going to use sheets of styrene painted a grey primer color...did some testing and seems to look ok.

I used a roll of cardboard painting drops sheet or what you want to call it. I didn't want the big grans to show on the wall. I think the walls now look like insulation or house sheeting.

The photo booth is now a spot to store the scale garage.

Here made a quick workbench. I think it looks pretty cool with some scale goodies in it.

I used regular styrene sheets for the floor and just used some dark primer. The seems almost look 1:1 too.

I got a lot of complements when I displayed it at the 2013 Northwest Model Hobby Expo (Feb 8th, 9th and 10th).

Here is a flyer I made to show new folks on what trucks are aviable to purchase.

Very nice. I recently made one, too. Mine also doubles as a carry case for my drift truck.

Looks great awesome quality! Really like the idea for the floors.

The guy working in your shop looks almost like Chuck Norris from taxas ranger days?

Looks great! Just started mine, but this has inspired portability. What are the dementions of the area?

These RC4WD metal handy carts are pretty slick, can't wait to incorporate it in my scale build pictures.

With the large scale trucks like my Chevy Class Three truck, my current garage is a little small. I am going to make a new garage but this time I want to make it scale and true to 1:1 building standards.

I ripped down some 1"X4" pine boards into .2"x.4" scale pieces of wood. It was a little tricking but I am happy how they came out.

I am connecting the studs with #18 X 5/8" wire brads. I am also pre drilling for the brads so the wood does split.

These small pieces are pretty flimsy so I used glue as well.

Here is what the size of the walls will be.

Thumbs up Re: Justin's "Scale Garage" and "Photo Booth"...

Your garage is looking great
Loving all of your details. It can quickly become an all consuming addicting part of your days if not careful.

I started a garage of my own a while back and never finished it. Keep hoping to find time to get back at it.
Did the same cutting of my own studs and framing entire thing exactly a regular 1:1 construction with a trussed roof too.
