Default a few 3D printed accessories

I started playing around with 3D printing to make a gas pump for my garage build and had so much fun, I had to make more.

Nice, what printer do you have?
I had the SoliDoodle 3 but sold it... wasn't up to the resolution I wanted.

Shapeway's. I've looked at printers but same as you, everything in my price range can't do the range of materials & detail that I get via Shapeway's

BTW, I recently sold the design of the pump to a company who is a vendor here on RCC & has the means to manufacture it by other methods.

hmmm... I had thought of that a while back but assumed the price point would be too high.
Maybe I should look into it. (I'm a 3d artist).

Well.... you definitely are paying for the service. really small stuff that you can link together like a set of wrenches works good & with their detail acrylic, you can see the detail in a 10 scale socket wrench but big stuff like the pump & even the cooler and toolbox... hard to justify.

that fuel pump is swell

all of it looks spot on... very good resolution

the cast iron pot/pan even displays a grainy textured surface.
placed in the right setting...
I could be tricked into thinking those were real.

actually... all of it !

nice detail

Did shapeways have a material that made the 'snap on' decal look like chrome?

Beautiful models that you made.

And speaking of campers...

Injection molded. sliding windows, interior walls to hide wire routing channels for LED lighting, steel roof rack, all the interior drawers, doors, closet, oven door, fridge door are functional.
