sweet write up but the only thing I would do different is sow the corners on the inside to make the seem look seemless>? But I'd be too lazy to do that.

WOW, now thats the best looking soft top I have ever scene I am really digging the whole truck, is there a build up of this rig somewhere? great job for sure

exaclty what I was thinking... maybe build the main hoop out of thicker rod, and put a few X braces in. even with that all done, I would be worried about punctureing the fabric on a rollover.

does look hella nice though... great write up too.

I built my little 3 hoop canvas top out of 1/8 solid rod and its no where near as nice as his and I (260 lbs) can stand on it

It does look better but it is much harder to get the top on tight and the upper corners are hard to keep looking good.

I wish this write up was around when I made mine, very good
