Cool finished roof rack

well hopefully Corey (rpphobby) dos'nt mind me postin these pics ...

Corey asked me to build him a couple things for a YJ build he's working on and this was the first thing I started on. this is my first attempt at building "scale parts" , not sure if it's fun or a PITA yet...LOL....anyway here are the pics, enjoy.

Nice work, I started something very similar for mine about a year ago out of brass and solder...it wasnt coming out so great so I scrapped it. Yours looks great though, thats what I wanted mine to look like

thanks that's what I was going for, I hav'nt seen anyone else do that so I wanted to make something diffrent. although it took me a while longer to make since I had to make my own dimple die, the outcome was worth it !!

basicly just made one smaller than what I use for 1:1 stuff...don't know if anyone makes a 1/4" dimple die.....LOL...

well got a chance to work on Corey's YJ a little today got some front tube work done...hopefully I'll get a little more time to work on this and get my part finished up over the holidays.....

man I knew there was a color that was missing.... what would be funny is if he actualy left it like that......

and oh yea thanks for the compliments guys. I can't wait till I get all the stuff done that I'm making for this rig. once Corey get's it back and finishes it, it should be prety sweet

I think you could use a brake line flaring tool for a dimple die. I'm gonna try it at some point, results will be fortcoming.
