Alright members. I had this question asked of me a couple days ago. Consider a class 2 truck like an F-toy. Assuming it follows all the scale rules for C2. Are boat sides also allowed? This was asked because does a tube mounted cage like an Ftoy with tube work that tapers in the front and back count as pinching and dovetailing. i ask this because of the following, and wanted some experienced advice. • 2 of the 3 following modifications are allowed: Dovetailing the rear *a truggy/tube bed that is narrower than the cab counts as a dovetail* (1/2 the width of the widest part of the cab). Boat sides (no more than 1.25" measured vertically from the bottom of the skid). Pinching the front (2/3 the width of the widest part of the cab). |

Well if I was asked when I was judging after looking up F-toy's most of them are a little pinch the front but not 2/3rds which the rules how i read them is a set size, also I noticed if they pinch the front they do not bob the rear or vice verse? also as for the bobbed rear same goes it for me to count it would be at least 1/2 the width of the cab for it to count. I could be completely wrong and changing a hair of the total width could count but I would consider that hair pulling. |
