Default C3 2.2 Swamper XL tires

Proline Super Swamper 2.2 XL tires

These things spec out to 5.80" and Max height allowed is 5.75". Are any of you guys allowing them to run in Class 3 in your local events? I'm considering allowing them in my local events but explaining to them that just because we allow it doesn't mean the guys down the road will allow them in their comps.

Thoughts?

We allow them in our local club. We follow a loose set of usrcca trail class rules though (broken into 2.2 and 1.9). No sorrca class 3. Myself and two others run them. For anyone looking to go to a national comp, they are well aware of the rules required to change there tires.

We usually stay with the C1-C3 for most but when we do open 1.9/2.2 runs any tire is legal, even comp tires and comp crawlers. And yeah if they are going to a national comp they had better know the rules before they even make plans.

This is how we treat just about everything in Vegas. Show up with a comp rig at a scale event and you are still going to be allowed to run.
