Truck cab and frame rails only

I have a member that wants to just have the cab on his Class2 and no bed or truggy. My interpretaion that this is not withing spec as truggy back half and flat-deck Have specific criteria. But SORRCA rules do not specifically mention that you must have a deck box or truggy back?

Can you pleas confirm whether this is within spec or not?

Class 1 states no cab only but other 2 classes do not state that. Therefore, cab only would be legal in C2 and C3. It should have a full cab back to hide electronics though.

So a guy running a flat deck has to be full cab with and as long as the frame rails making for a limited suspension and wheel clearance and added weight. And a guy running a truggy the added weight. But the guy looking for loopholes can just have his frame rails sticking out the back but as long as hes hidden his electronics hes within spec? Seems a bit daft IMO.

Yeah, I was clarifying as there is such a detailed description of what is allowed in the "Class 2 Details" for truck bed or truggy but "no back or bed" isnt mentioned.

But as you say you get the scale points. Begs the question (aside from looks) why would you run a lexan pick-up box it is clumbsy and gets in the way and you get no points for it anyway. Just throw it away cover your rear (cab) and run!

But anyway them's the rules! lol
