This is the only hotel in Battleground: Bestwestern.com, the World's Largest Hotel Chain. Book soon, I was told it fills up quickly for September weddings. This campground is just 3 miles away from the hotel: Battle Ground Lake State Park Not too fancy but could be fun. These are a little bit south of the Battleground exit off of I-5 (about 15-20 minutes from the Best Western): http://www.lq.com/lq/properties/prop...88&propId=6288 http://www.daysinn.com/hotels/washin...all-_-DI-_-all http://www.vancouverwahie.com/ I would say that these are a last resort (but fine if you can't get a room closer). That battle ground lake campground looks really good. The cost per night is $57 for a cabin that will hold 5 people. I'm going to try to make it with a couple buddies from upstate sc. I'm glad I have 8 months heads up.

Was poking around on google maps and saw Cedars North Airpark southeast of Battle Ground. I decided to zoom in ... Someone had fun with their mowing ... |

Thanks for the offers, y'all....and Norm, thanks for the leg work! I'm trying to minimize time away from work since I don't get vacation pay. That last option you posted has me considering this trip after all. I'll touch base with Patrick to see what his flight schedule is. Hoping to make it, but I'd likely only have one boring truck to bring with me. |

If you fly Patricks schedule or something close your ride to and from PDX is Handled. Let me know and I'll drive the crew cab down instead of the Gti I think Patrick is in Thursday out Sunday no TTC. Check Seattle flights also might be a couple $$$ cheaper and I cano Aww you already called.... |

| Re: Hotels and other accommodations Yes, pretty much everything we are doing in the evenings is revolving around the Best Western hotel. We have the conference room Friday and Saturday night. We will be spending alot of time in that room both of those nights. The competition will start at Lucia Falls park Friday and Saturday mornings.

I'm sure between everyone, we can fit you in somewhere, just make it happen and get your flight figured out as soon as possible. We will probably have floor space since it's just Erik and I in our room. It would be good to see you again. Depending on your flight times, we might be able to pick you up from the airport.
