Now I'm itching to get out on those beautiful rocks. We don't see anything even remotely close to that in Ohio. Definitely gonna be worth the 3700 mile round trip. That's not counting our side trip to Moab!!

So I'm here at my sister in laws house, just down the road. Unfortunately I didn't have room to pack my rig. I will at least take a trip up to see lathe spot.

Thanks for the offer! Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to devote any real time into going. I hope to just go up and give it a look. My brother in law told me I should take his truck but we have all kinds of family stuff going on at the same time. So we'll see. It's teasing me since I can see it from the house though.

You bet. I live about 10 minutes away. I take my 1.1 jeep and crawler up there.

Took a detour on my soda run today and went up there to check it out. I pulled into the large parking lot and saw a 1:1 JKU and an rc, sure enough it was Rottenbelly. BS'd for a few and went and looked around a little.
Reminds me of the Dells in Prescott on a smaller scale. Days and days worth of terrain, probably a good thing I didn't bring my rig or I might have gotten in trouble.
Gonna have to see if I can bring my Cherokee up next time for a little 1:1 action too. Awesome spot for sure.
