I see it connects to the receiver for power, can I turn it on and off from the tx?

You can as long as you have a free channel on your radio and receiver. We recommend HeyOK's switches: ON/OFF: HeyOK Remote Switch for LED Lighting Dimming: HeyOK Remote Switch for LED Lighting with Dimming Here's a video on YouTube showing one of our light bars (wired the same) being switched by a HeyOK controller: Gear Head RC "Trail Torch" with HeyOK Switch - YouTube -Jim Rpp Hobby/Gear Head | |

| ![]() A switch is only necessary if you don't want the light bar on all the time. It has a very small current draw, so you don't have to worry about it draining your vehicle battery much. If you plug it into your receiver, it will be on whenever your rig is switched on. If you don't want to get "fancy" with a remote switch, you can wire in an inline switch to cut the power from either of the two wires. I have used a salvaged Novak ESC micro sliding switch for one of my installations. -Jim |
