| How To Destroy A R2D
Through on a 4600 motor on my SCX today to see what she will do and it didnt last 10 minutes. Guess Im going to have to go back to a Axial tranny with a dig. Was cool while it lasted though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w3RrzRR_8jg |

How come these trannys break easily, I geuss cause they have narrow gears? For 70 or bucks they should be indestructable imo.

Yea, the $25 Stampede transmissions are stronger than that.

So I did some math. rpm/volt x volt = RPM BL 4600 11.1 = 51,000 BRUSHED 55t 987 11.1 = 11,000 BRUSHED 15t 4317 11.1 = 47,730 These numbers I got off the Holmes Hobbies website for his handwound motor I dont really think any tranny/dig can handle that much speed |
