Default The "Big Oly" Bronco's First Comp

This is course 1 from this past weekend's Put Up or Shut Up Scale Comp in San Antonio. I'll post video of course 2 after I finish putting it together tonight. Overall, I was pretty pleased with the performance, but there is room for improvement!

Here's the video from course 2 of the comp.

Sweet video. The course looked challenging.

Well the course was quite nice. The truck seems very good, but it's a bit difficult to judge since there are no other trucks to compare it with. You should post some videos of other competitors in the same points you had difficuly to see how they did.

Sorry, that's the only video I have from the event. It did have the best score on the course, but that doesn't tell you much.

Well it looks good, maybe I find it a bit light, on the vertical climbs it seems that it could use a bit more weight on the wheels, but this also might be that the stone had much sand or dirt on it (can't really tell from the video).

Yeah, the rock had a definitely layer of dust on it making it really slick. Most rigs didn't make it up those climbs. At least I made it up a few of them. But yeah, it needs more weight up front (and low) or less weight in the rear. I'm working on that, though. The rig itself weights well over 10 lbs. but I think it just needs more of it up front.

She doesn't sit quite so low right now.
Went for more of a TTC style truck.

Though I do have a set of 1.9 wheels with Baja Claws and some SCX10 axles that are pretty bullet proof that may get swapped in there.
Thinking more of a 1.9 trail truck. She is 10+ lbs and is VERY hard on parts as a TTC truck..
