I thought it would be fun to assemble some of my better ruined shots in the past year of filming our RC Crawling events.

This video was killing me! I hate people!
(Loved the video)

This is one reason that I have always said that for 60 minutes worth of raw footage, you have maybe 3-6 minutes of useable video clips to make into something.

The shot of the little orange bronco where right at the final part of the shot... FOOT!!! That is when I was hit by the epiphany that I must make a MOVE Get Out the Way video.

Oh yeah you were another I knew would appreciate this.

Filming in a comp situation there are always people in your shot and it is unavoidable but sometimes I just want to murder. Ok most of the time.

BTW... In hearing all my bitching about all the crap footage compromised K2 said I should do a video with some of the good ruined shots... I just laughed and told him it was already started. So he was partially responsible too

And all you video guys you should do a video like this it is good therapy. I'll have to sneak in some of the more choice ruined shot from time to time in my future vids.

I bet if I had the time to go through the 33 hours of footage stacked next to my monitor, I'd have a video 30 hours long. Let's not even think about the 100+ hours sitting in the plastic tub in the closet.
