Thanks! I actually wanted a full orange paint job but had to change when i realized there was only a quarter of a can left; I used some leftover green. This is its first run even though its been through a lot.

This is what it looked like when I finished building and before a book shelf came off the wall and crushed it.

This is what it looks like after new body and wheels. BTW the wheel swap was due to style change rather than damage.

I was damn glad to finally run it on some rocks before anything else happened to it. It thought it handled nicely although a bit bouncy at speed. It was still a lot of fun to drive. Everything held up except for the steering servo which stripped its gears in about an hour.

I replaced servo but now contemplating using a servo saver....not sure yet.

Nice rig and video!... I'l looking into the ballistic crawler systems for mine, so it's great to see one in action! Which ballistic kit are you running (18.5/21)? Also, what battery are you using? Yours looks like it puts down a good amount of power!

Thanks!

I'm running the 18.5 3S version. I like the fact that I have option of running it with or without the drag brake.

For the battery, i'm running a Reedy wolfpack 7.2v 4200 Ni-MH. I'm also running a 21 tooth pinion gear.

Great job!!! Truck looks sick. I particularly like the weathering on the shovel and ramp.

Thanks MeatWad!, great to hear from you again. I changed wheel size from 1.9 to 1.5 and tire size from 4.65" to 4.50". I plan on drilling some venting holes in the wheel ring.

Thanks Midlandrc, I used War Hammer color wash on both except that the ramp was sprayed silver first. They were black delrin before.

UPDATE: 11/25/2012

Performed two upgrades...First: Swapped out the original RC4WD foams out of the Irok tires for a set of Pro-line memory foams. Second: Drilled a vent hole in each of the steelie's inner rings.

Also added a single speaker/mp3 combo rather than a dual speaker combo as the yellow bronco.
The reason was space and weight. The mp3 is velcro'd onto the rig therefore making it swappable with the other bronco until i get another one.

Here are pics of current setup:

Here is a quick video of the General Lee's Dixie Land tune(horn)
The horn is pretty loud with one speaker.
It plays once every 15 seconds for first minute, then once every minute for 8 minutes, then it loops.

Thanks guys!

It's pretty loud; it makes you jump when it goes off, lol.

I can't wait to try the tune on the other rig that has 2 speakers; the wife is going to love it

Would be even better if it were able to go off via third channel.
