I'll take stab at it... because the 2.2 folder is for tech discussion. IMO, this doesn't belong here either... as it's not really a scale video. Should have been move to the Video folder that presides in the rccrawler general folder " Videos ! " > A place for you to link all your crawling vids! ( ? ) but the mods will do what they want Last edited by TacoCrawler; 11-03-2014 at 11:05 AM. |

Now why would you not consider it a scale video? The truck is more scale than most I see in this section of the forum. Definitely more scale than the yetti that many others are posting.

^^^ been here 2 months, has 19 posts, and already trying to flame other members if you're all bent out of shape over a few video comments, i highly recommend some preparation H. you'll be butt hurt many more times bombing around on a rocky hillside (regardless of wheel size), i agree it should have been general crawlers>videos. 2.2s rolling around on flat concrete or manicured lawn would be scale.... I'm not trying to ruffle any feathers just trying to get your definition of scale that's all. But your definition was not really a definition. It's a scale truck the 2.2 tires fit the body it's an 1/8 scale. So I saw it fitting that it be in the scale category, regardless of if I'm driving on a rocky hill or driving through the grass or on the pavement. But wouldn't the grass itself not make it a scale video considering the size of the grass, but rocks and boulders would still be scale. And you don't have to bash on how long or how many posts I have on this website. For some one that has been on this site for a while that just doesn't seem right. I was just asking a question, didn't need the sarcasm. I'm on a bunch of other sites that I've been on for a long time. Just sayin.

| Re: The Mountain Episode 2: Down. previous version of post removed as to not be an internet asshat in another thread someone posted "scale is in the eye of the builder". to me you, your truck does not fit my views of 'scale' so to each his own. ive never been a fan of oversized tires. my wraith only has 4.75" tall tires. i prefer around 4"-4.25" for everything else. if you could clean up some of your body work might ease some peoples opinions i dont claim my stuff as scale. sure i got 2 toyota hard bodied rigs, but neither have interiors. neither are decked out in accessories. and honestly i would say they both need 1.55s instead of 1.9s you want examples of scale trucks, search for users "pardonmynoob", "szczerba" "imthatguy" "Lentsnh2012" and several others also, anytime you feel like what any of else says is hateful or rude or what not, click the little red/white triangle under the users name on that post. thats what its there for Last edited by nharkey85; 11-05-2014 at 11:07 AM. |
