Default Waffet you on this forum?

For any rc/car freaks out there Waffet, on YouTube, makes some exceptional scx10 videos.

Waffet, if you're on this forum, I'm curious as to what motor/ tranny set up you use in your videos because you seem to be able to crawl at such a slow yet powerful pace.

I couldn't decide if this was a thread worth anything so I moved it, then moved it back to the SCX forum cause ..., but I wonder why you can't look up his name? I've never heard of this person.

Edit: moved

^ fail ! Lol

----------------

OP... if yer gonna post show and tell...
at least bring something to the table !?
very simple to have posted comment or question on youtube !

ie: "Dude are you a user on the rccrawler forum, user name ?"

I'm not sure why the promo and inquiry here ?
it's not subjective to this folder that I can see.
I think this would be better suited for
general chit chat, maybe the scale video folder.
or not at all !? sheetcan Lol

^ Because the OP brought nothing to plate.

The Waffet videos are decent tho'...
~ but I could still be critical if I had mind ~

I could look it up however he may not use the same name right? I watch more than a healthy amount of RC videos, and this guy makes the best video (in my humble opinion of course).

Anyway here's a link to one of his videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BOyD-P4ELiI

I bet if you watch it you'll thank me for showing you the channel.

Anyway, perhaps I'm different than you guys, but I created the thread to bring attention to what appears to be a lowly viewed channel, to see if this guy was on the forum, and lastly to see how he's set up his rig/

If the guys videos weren't so dialed I wouldn't respond, but his videos are worth defending, so there.

Hi!

If you bother to arrange for a scale crowd to watch you driving a scale course you really should hide your unscale wires with some inner fenders and use camera angles that don't show your axle mounted servo.

Other than that a nice video. Especially as the jeep wallows like a real one.

I've only looked at the one video you linked and it was good. That rig is super softly sprung.

It says in the description that it's using a Tekin FXR ESC/Motor Combo. 55T

Bouncy bouncy... meh.

Congratulations on the successful plug though.
You did manage to drive some traffic to the "lowly viewed channel"

I'm 98% sure that's what's happening here, the other 2% just doesn't care. Some of the information you seek is on You Tube as GodSpeed pointed out, and you/he seems to respond to questions and comments regarding your/his videos if more information needed.

Thanks to this thread I found a new channel to subscribe to. OP may have posted in the wrong forum. It may have been a shameless plug. The videographer may have exposed wires etc.... But the fact remains, we are adults playing with toy trucks and Mr. Waffett documents it beautifully. Lol

A) That's not a fact, it's just your opinion.
B) It still doesn't excuse a BS You Tube pimping thread, "Check out my You Tube channel" would have been sufficient.

I decided your "fact" applied the whole end statement, whether you intended it or not. But it's a moot point, you see how it was all just your opinion and that's what was important.

Who's the adult here? You, the eager subscriber boastfully following the attention-*****?? I don't think so, and to imply or assume I'm not simply because I see through childish bids for attention is a mistake on your part.

Regardless, as stated earlier, it still doesn't excuse the BS You Tube pimping thread. He should have just asked the sheep to watch. They would have gladly followed, a lot of people live for the "stuff" on You Tube.
