| Vader Bully comp rig
Here is a build up of my Bully axled comp rig for 09' I started with a self made custom Delrin chassis. Drilled and re-tapped a set of TCS bent links to 8-32 so I could use large Traxxas rod ends. Then I got a set of Revo GTR shocks I'm using yellow springs in the front and greens in the rear. I run a set of Eritex Delrin solids with Proline Chisels and stock foams. I run no wheel wieght. I then made dig switch using Honeywell V15H22-CZ100A02-K 22 amp switches, and a Hitech HS-55 servo. Here is the assembled chassis. I run a JR z9100HVt steering servo. I ran my first comp and did ok. I was out of practice and placed 7th. Next comp was much better as I had gotten a lot of wheel time. Placed second. I run Integy motors 55t front 45t rear 3s 1300 mah Mamba Max CC BEC My dig wiring. Thanks for looking. Last edited by hitman46mod; 05-15-2009 at 05:49 PM. |

Great looking setup Nice work on the chassis I really need to get some softer springs for my GTR shocks! What weight oil are you using? That is amazing to me that you don't run any added weight I am running Eritex adjustable off-set wheels with Chisel's and Ace's Donuts with 8oz. front and 6oz rear added. Do you run breather holes in your wheels? Last edited by Xtant3150c; 05-14-2009 at 12:28 AM. |

I have a vid of my AX-10 pulling a steep climb with no wheel weight. I'm of the school of thought that a light rig is a good rig. My bully rig only weighs 6.2 lbs. RTR. I use Delrin and stainless hardware keep the weight down. Here is one of my favorites a 1 1/2 foot leap from rock to rock. Last edited by hitman46mod; 05-15-2009 at 05:44 PM. | ||

Reworked suspension and chassis. It like a slinky. Last edited by hitman46mod; 01-10-2010 at 08:30 PM. |
