It's about 60 miles from Columbia in Kershaw county. Here is a Google maps link:

It is a fun place to go-just don't go by yourself, lol!

Rough neighborhood?
Looks like the weather is coming around and daylight savings coming up so I'm hoping to find some nice spots.

It's not a rough neighborhood. There is no neighborhood. Very steep location and with a bad step or a slip and you might not stop till you hit the bottom. And I have read that it is haunted by soldiers from the Revolutionary War. The site was where dead or dying soldiers were brought.

I wish they had more crawler stuff on the shelf, I'm barely 5 minutes from there, but they do keep good stock of regular RC stuff.
I got my Losi mini from them, they had a really nice AX-10 up there on consigment a few months ago that I should have bought but waited and it got gone

There is a possibility that Jeff and I might go crawling tomorrow. Is there anyone who might want to go? the only thing is we dont know where we want to go. If the water level is down we will go to the Zoo. If its high we will go to Hanging Rock. Is there anyone who has been seen the water level of the Saluda River in the last couple days? ittybitty was going to check for me tomorrow afternoon, but we will be going in the morning. So anyone feel like crawling?? PM me or reply here.

I checked the water levels online and the level is low. i just need to know if anyone else wants to go.

Try talking them into carrying ANY r/c parts. Jeff and I went there today after we went crawling, and they basically have a bunch of propellers and some paint and that's about it!

My opinion is Chops is being generous on his discription of lexington hobby. They only had two things "kinda" cool. Traxxas summit.(which i dont want) and a game setup on a computer for flying model airplanes(simulation). I also dont own one of those. I couldnt even find poly black paint. Very dissapointed. if you need "A" tire. Call'm. If you need "A" propellor call'm. anything else. Good luck

There are some smaller sections there that would be a nice challenge for the MRC. And they are within the same part where we filmed those clips.
