Hello everyone, I am new to crawling and looking for some info on where to go, people to go with. I am not sure if this has already been discussed, sorry if it has. I am also considering the idea of setting up a course either in the back yerd or garage, let me know if anyone is intrested. Thanks in advance Shaun MF Pitcher |

There are a few of us running around here.... there is a new rc track that just opened up here in charleston at Paintball of charleston... I have talked to one of the owners and he is toying with the idea of building a crawler course, he just isnt sure if it would be worth it or even if the people would show up to crawl or comp there...

Its a "medium size" IF, but if the pile is big enough and built right I'd drive that far. The problem is that being a man made pile it'd be hard to get guys to drive 3.5+ hours from the upstate. I know thats a pretty good drive in any situation for a crawling spot, but I will say this...driving 3.5 hours for a natural location IS worth every minute on the road whereas "most" man made piles are questionable.

Like Ryan said its a big IF. Its a 5 hr ride for me to come down there. If gas goes up anymore we all won't be going far. |

I'm closer to Columbia, but visit family in the Charleston area every once in a while (been too busy in the past 6 months). Sullivan's Island and Isle of Palms have some places that would be pretty sweet for crawling at low tide, so long as there are no restrictions against it. Might even come across a few "live rocks" (horseshoe crabs). I think this is also my first post in the SC section? Hey y'all! |

| Moving to back to chas area.
Will be moving back home to Chas area from Ft. Leonard Wood, MO. I am new to the crawling, trail scene. Been away from rc for about 10+ years. I have a modded cc-01 lr3 and a rs10xt. Saving up for a scx10 since that what everyone looks like they are running. Should be back home in May hopefully. Cant wait to get to running with you guys.
