Welcome! I don't know much of what goes on in the charleston area, we have a great group of Comp Guys and Scale Guys in SC. Most of us are in the middle and western part of the state. Charleston is a great city, albeit a little expensive. Nate |

I'd say that Sc is a great place to comp and we have a big group here. I'd say around 15-20 guys that stick with this group. We mostly run comps but latly, we have been talking about scaler comps such as a ttc or G6. Depending on the drive you are willing to take, we have comp areas from Riverbanks zoo to spartanburg to the border of NC and Georgia. If you look at the stickies in this thread, you will see the places we comp. Also, if you were to find some places down by the bay, I'm betting a few of us would come down and scale/comp with you if you weren't willing to make the drive. |

That sounds good. I'll keep my rigs. You said the ttc are getting bigger? I've been wanting to try that. Guess i'll have to crank my welder back up and try some chassis out. I dont mind driving to other places. I am from SC and have family from hilton head to greenville.

| Thank you. I have 2 scalers. A class 1 and class 2. Once I get money coming in and settled down i have no problem traveling up state. I have family i can stay with or find a camp ground.

Finally made it back home. Living in Moncks Corner now. Got rid of my scalers before I left MO. But I bought one from the classified section and have another project i'm working on. Dust the old welder off and start fabbing. Hopefully. Let me know when ya'll gonna get the scalers together. I'm in columbia now but will be heading back in the morning. See ya'll soon.

There's some scalers here in the Sumter area. The trails I mentioned that are located in Poinsett State Park are only a little over an hour from you.
