Practice Comp?

Any interest in a practice comp for those of us that can't afford to travel very far and jonesin' for some crawling fun. Saturday morning somewhere would be my suggestion. Maybe we can also revive this forum which seems to have lost some of its luster.

Sorry it's dropped off so quick Ray...I miss hanging out with the SC drivers as well...but we all know how hard it is to get everyone motivated when we know it's going to be 100+ in the shade

Feel free to organize a comp...nothing to keep you from doing it. We'll be cranking up our next points series somewhere around the end of September...after Nationals is over. Until then anything goes

No apology necessary, I just miss the rush of competition and hanging with friends with similar interests, even if it's for nothing but fun. Jeremy and I have been crawling at night at a local spot with lights for 2 reasons, one is the heat and the other is he works second shift now. It's a great place to try setup changes and test new parts. I thought with the lower temps for the next few days, we could take advantage of it. I know it's a haul for some but thought maybe the upstate guys could make a morning of it. I haven't seen any posts from the new guys from the end of the season, and hoped I could spark some interest.

That's what I like to see...ya'll better watch out though...Chad's gonna be some competition for the next season without a doubt and with Ray giving pointers he's sure to improve on how well he did at Battlegrounds.

The Atlanta guys are having a comp this Saturday the 14th. Maybe a few of you could carpool and make it out. It would be nice to meet some of you and always good to see some of the old faces. You all are always more then welcome to come to our comps. I hope to make some of yours very soon.

Ray...if you can make it to the comp in Atlanta it'll be well worth the trip. Stone Mtn. is a nice location. Make sure if you go that you get one of the locals to show you the crawling spot close to the visitors center/ghondola ride...it's just around the corner from where they are comping this weekend

Thanks Ryan. I hope to get to go. Would love to get together with the upstate guys but I guess most are busy. It would be nice also to meet the Georgia guys. I'm sure you have met some of them at the regional events?
