| Chassis sandblasting in the area?
I figured this was the best place to ask this question. I've been working on an exo tube chassis for my scx scaler. It's my first time brazing an entire chassis so its not the cleanest but I've read that most people get their brazing projects media blasted to remove scale, excess burnt on flux, etc. Do any of you guys know of a local place that I could get this done, or maybe someone around here does it themselves. FYI, I'm in the Summerville, north charleston area but I can travel a bit if need be. Thanks guys. |

On a serious note...a quick search on Google for "sandblasting summerville, sc" returned Dean's Sandblasting. Looks like a good bet they'd be able to take care of you. Dean's Sandblasting https://www.facebook.com/pages/Deans...26156540771049 |

I googled "sandblasting north charleston" and all I got was for big industrial projects like bridges and stuff. I guess I should have tried Summerville first, lol. That place you found might do the trick though, thanks.

Anybody that does powder coating will likely do sandblasting as well.

I saw a few in the Moncks while I was in the area awhile back. Fritz may be able to chime in and help you out with the name/location!

not to try to over complicate this for you but you could always hop over to local tractor supply, sears, or harbor freight and get yourself a relatively cheap sand blaster might be overkill for what you need it for but you can always find something to sand blast. Old rusty bolts. rc chassis, small animals and annoying children. lol ok maybe not the animals and children but still
