I was talking about this because ripsaws are 4.3 and trepadors are 4.6 not class 1 there are plenty of tires he could put on it to make it class 1.

Hey guys I meant to ask earlier and now I see in these pics that there is creek crossings. Will there be gates in water features where waterproofing is a must???

Don't let the water fool you in those pics! Loon was running his baby boggers/C1 through it all day and maybe covered halfway on the wheel. We are going to fill any deep spots or edges with some gravel in the creek to prevent anything happening. As long as your not blind driving or having serious glitch problems then it shouldn't be an issue keeping it out the deeper stuff. Then again, we had some serious snow/melt the past week and the water is up higher than usual in these pics!

I am not water proofed and I didn't have any issues. Servo never even got wet. I was worried too but the crossings if not shallow have been built up to not be as deep.

10 gates on the creek run and 20 on the rocks then the hill climb is what the plans were. We did the creek run in 5 minutes not going flat out. But it can bite you if you don't pay attention.

We are planning on a quick 10 gate course on the creek run - looking at about 5-7 min time limit or so.. The rock section will consist of 30 gates total, 10 on the lower & 20 on the top. We have done some test runs today and are looking at 15-25 minutes for that course. This is the main run/section here, we are trying to utilize all the great obstacles it has to offer and give everyone some good driving time! The hill climb will be another 10 gate, with the addition of a penalized boundary / NO HOG / looking at a 2-3 min timeout. Penalized Boundary & NO HOG will only apply to the hill climb - will be discussed in further detail at the event!

As for getting things in order for judging/teching/etc, we are going to have several people helping out to speed up the process. The plan is to have at least 2-3 teamed or individuals running per course - maybe more or the rock course. The teamed creek section will be first to run and should go rather quick. That will allow us time for lunch and a quick practice on the upper section - if need be. Hill climb will be the last event and will go very fast being a 2-3 timeout.. Hope this clears a few things up, please let us know if you want to help out (judging/teching/photo/video/etc) - would be greatly appreciated!

Quick question but how do you go about deciding who is on a team for the creek course? Is it random people put together or should I already know who my partner is glnna be?
