How does this truck crawl and climb compared to your trx4?

Sweet build for sure!

Great job on the tube work.

Of all the SSD builds I've browsed, yours is what finally convinced me to order my own. You've done too good a job.

Love how the interior came out! That is an awesome idea for the cooler!

Good luck at the Nationals! Can't wait to see the trail pics!
Thanks and sorry for the delay in replying. I've been a little busy with other stuff for a while now.

Do you think there is room to fit the pictured Turnigy Nanotech battery in the location where you have your receiver?
No, i don't think there's quite enough room there. Plus where it is now is a lot lower so would likely perform a little better.

My TRX-4 was very dialled and performed great. This is not too far behind at the moment, but I haven't been focused so much on performance with this truck yet. But, after driving it for a while I've no doubt i could get it to perform equally if not better than my TRX-4.

Thanks, much appreciated. It's a fantastic truck to start a build with. NOTHING needs changing. And the amount of steering is next level !!

Thanks very much. No real updates at the moment. Although, no we're in lock down I may get round to doing a few of the mods i have planned for it.

Yeah ok. So many in lockdown. No lockdowns for me in Brisbane Australia as of yet. Borders closed now though.
I may consider the trail king now after reading your thread. Also been tossing up between it and the element but I just can’t love the look of the diff housings on the element.

Keep us posted, really is a great and neat build you’ve done.

Will do. I had an Enduro on order when they were first released. But changed my mind for the Trail King. Mainly because i didn't like the look of the axles and the big transmission in the centre really limited the space for a nice interior. I guess it depends what you want from a truck. But for me I have absolutely no regrets about the Trail King. It's ACE!
