Default Tranny for super shafty?

Building a super shafty rig. I've made/collected all the parts except the transmission. I have a few ideas for what transmission to use, but I would like to get some ideas and suggestions here as well. It weighs just under 8 pounds without the transmission and battery. Thanks a lot for any input or experience you have on this.

Pertinent specs:

17" wheelbase
Twin Force axles w/mods
Vertigo lockers
Steel helical 43/10's and 43/13's (may overdrive the front with the 43/10's)
Revo shafts
6.75" tires
4 link suspension
4WD / 4WS
Lightweight custom TVP chassis
Machined center skid/transmission mount/lower link mount (haven't drilled holes for trans yet)

I run a R2HD in my TXT axled super. So far so good, no problems with it at all.

Id run an axial. Just put some heavy duty outputs and you'll be good!

I am running an R2HD in my force based super. Total weight is 8lb 1 oz RTR. I have no problems so far and reduction is around 45:1.
