Question HPI Blast width feedback

Ok guys, I don't have a lot of time on the rocks, so I will turn toward the "educated" majority.

I am considering narrowing my rims by 3/4 of an inch...

Can you give me some pro's n con's as to why I should or shouldn't narrow my blasts?

Is it for taller stance? or is it for better turning radius'? Any feedback would be killer! Thanks guys.

i have a few sets of blast wheels for my super,,they range in size from 2'' to 1 7/8s,,it all depends on your rig ,,i love having my wheels narrowed,,they gave me more steering,,and link clearance,,im also running them with narrowed tires as well,,i have the 2'' wide set with a full width set of plowboys ,,and its still gives me great steering and link clearance,,if you need any help on how to narrow em up,,shoot me a pm

Right on! That's what I was thinking, it really is a "Case-by-Case" basis when it comes to almost anything that has to do with RC Crawling... ( I think that's what I LOVE about it, NO Cookie-cutter designs!)

Thanks guys!

I narrowed mine to 1 7/8" so I can get full steering and keep the wheel in from the sidewall of the tire. I really like how they are working. The tire hits the rocks, and doesn't let the wheel hit the rocks hardly at all.
