The red and tacky is ok, but I use Gear Science Gear Gel from ecrchobbies.com. That stuff is really sticky and you don't have to use a bunch. It is well worth it. You can also get it from ittybitty on the forum I think. Just send him a pm and he should get back to you. He is a great guy to deal with.

Thanks cavie! We do have it in stock now and you're exactly right...with the GS Gear Gel you don't have to "pack" the transmissions or axles with the grease in order to keep everything lubricated. Obviously that's an exaggeration, but you know what I mean.

The red n tacky is meant for bigger and heavier moving parts so the fact that it is so thick works fine but with RC's it really contributes too much drag to the smaller components. It's hard to explain the difference, you just have to try it and you'll see what we're talking about the first time you apply it

One more thing...no more incredibly messy tear downs

I answered your PM, but not sure that it went through with the server implosion.

I used to run the Losi Great Grease on my bullies and it worked well. That Lucas should do well too.
