I like the front servos step up, all the way to the end of the axle. I've been looking for a better front steering option for my super juice... what kind of mounts did you use for that.

Here are some pics as it sits now, remember there is no front axle. You can also see some of the shaving I did on the rear case (which is gonna be the front case when I get my other one back), I removed the top screw hole as well. In the last pic you can see the buggy hub/nut and the link mounts for the Dlux tubes.

The Servos I am using are full aluminum cases so mounting is fairly easy. All I did was stand them up against the link mount, drill and tap 2 holes and tada. The center link is gonna be replaced with a turnbuckle (if there is a big enough one) and a link to tie in the tops of the servo cases will be added.

What the Jig does is give you a guide to drill a second set of holes in the axle tubes for you to clock the axle. Clocking allows more caster to be run while still keeping the gear case up and out of the way. Here is the jig and here is is bolted up some grinding will be required

Ahh, very nice that's gonna have to be on my list of things to do. Were those delrin links easy to bend ? I want to go with delrin for my lowers just looking for the best way to do it. |

They are actually all-thread sleeved with brake line. For delrin you would be better off cutting them from a sheet in the shape you want, similar to the links you get with the BWD super wedge (whick is what mine are based off of)

I would be worried about the servo mount. You will rip them loose mounted only from one side.

A stronger servo mounting option or anther piece to beef it up will be worked on when I get the tubes back.

I was wondering if you could tell me how much weight you saved having your rear axles machined by dlux? Build is looking great btw |
