I'm still a newbie at this but if you plan on upgrading the axles then dont buy the clod, go with just the axles, I got a deal on a clod complete for cheep but the only thing im using out of it is the axles just my 2 cents.

various venders on here sell axle kits for cheaper than a complete clod. You also get some good upgrades also. I bought used axles and built them up. now you can get this, and in my opinion, it is a steel. http://rcpcrawlers.com/product.php?p...8&cat=8&page=1 everything you need to get started, and it leaves some room to upgrade later. |

yeah i thought about just buying the axel kit but i cant get a whole truck brand new for about 20 bucks more and still toy around with it until i get the chassis fabbed up. i really dont know what i want just yet ( tuber or just a basher) im just trying to gather some input on the whole super class clod but my finger is on the buy button lol. i really hate to pay a high price for used stuff on ebay when i can buy it new for just a couple bucks more ya know, but i do know that im going to purchase the whole clod kit or just the axels buy the end of this weekend thanks guys for the info.

You've got a star, keep an eye on the for sale section. Clod axles pop up there relatively regularly, and for much cheaper than on e-bay.
