2.2 Clod Questions

I'm planning on building a 2.2 Clod for the 08 Season, but I have a few questions on chassis decisions. I'm planning on cutting a "Bodiless" chassis out of fiberglass to the minimum dimensions and then running a hybrid suspension design with dampened twin torsion rods out back and a droop 4-link in front, but is this really needed? Would I get similar performance out of a Pimp Cane?

There is no Telling what the performace will be till you get it built and run it. Depending how big the body is an how thick the fiberglass is... You can get it very top heavy very fast. You really can't get any lower COG then a Pimp Cane.

I'm not using a body. That's the only reason I'm not just going with a Pimp Cane.

A Chassis made out of Fiberglass to the Minimum Dimensions that is large/strong enough to hold a 4 Link and Torsion bars. Would be very heavier and have a much higher COG then a Pimp Cane, Stick or maybe even a Tuber. But Try it and see. I think it's good that your wanting to try something new and out of the box.
