Default Need battery...how many mah do you like?

I just picked up a super class clod based crawler and have purchased two Novak 55 turn motors, novak rooster crawlers esc, TQ3 radio and am going to run one battery probably a 2 cell li-po and was wondering how what size battery to buy? 1500mah - 5000mah...what do you have and how long of run time to you get? I am just thinking that two motors are going to kill a battery pretty fast...I'm a Nitro guy and this electric stuff is new to me.

I would gete atleast a 2000maAh. I love my MaxAmps 4000mAh 3-cell lipo. Not sure exactly how long the run time is. I know I can run an entire comp day on it though. Probably well over an hour od run time. Check out MaxAmps in my sig they have lots of different batteries to choose from.

he means 4000mah 3cell not 400

and remember u are going slow, so the batt will last alot longer than if u were to be runing it in a basher, that will se alot more full throtle.

i would say atleast a 2000 if not a 3000 and it also depends on how mutch room u have.

I'm with RX 3-cell 4000 or 4500 lipo I ran my first comp this weekend using a 3-cell 4500 and toped the lipo off between courses and after each course it did not hold more than 450Mah I would not of had any issues running the entire comp on a single charge. And the added zap of the 3cell is over the 7 nimh cells i was running was awsome.
