| clod build help question
hi everyone i am in the middle of building my first clod base crawler, and i am collecting parts and assembling i noticed that i do not have the metal brace that goes from the diff / trans to the end of the axle on the knuckle. do i need this part or do crawlers not use them? http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXGB68&P=X that is the link to the part on tower if i didn't make any sense.

Integy makes a set that comes with servo mounts that are really nice I think. You should check them out, I think they are only $20.00 for the full set with hardware and all.

If you are planning on running the stock plastic axle tubes, you should definitely consider running those or the Integy ones. They provide support and prevents deflection of the axle tubes. They can also be used to mount servos, batteries, or speed controls.

They are highly recommened. They give much needed support and places to mount batteries and Electronics.
