Default comp question

I'm ready to enter into to a comp I think, I read the comp rules and have a question. Does a tuber have to have a roof? I have a floor, sides and hood cover on but just not sure if a roof is required?

Specs:
WB 20
GC 4 1/2
Motors hand wound 70T
Pinion 9t
Servos futaba 3305
rooster esc
ccbec Set at 6v
spectrum dx6
5000mah knuckle pack
custom tube chasis
imex red rock claws
maximizer bead locks
Mods still waiting to make, second esc, upgrade servos to 330oz.

yes, the rules state it must have a solid roof, hood and 2 side panels.

BTW- your hood is not "solid"

Keep in mind your roof, hood, and sidepanel's could simply be lexan zip-tied to the vehicle. In other words.. if you like the look of your hood just cover it with lexan so it still has the look you want when your not running a comp.

Is it ok to put lexan under the front hood and still be legal for comp?

You can put it over, or under, just leave it clear if you like the look of the hood. Might look pretty sharp painted Black though.
