Default Dual Sidewinder Programming Problem

I am attempting to program my 2.2 clod. The setup is as follows:
DX6
AR6000
CC Sidewinder for front motor and steering plugged into "thr" on Rx
CC Sidewinder for rear motor plugged into "aile" on Rx
Hitec 5645 MG front steering servo plugged into "ele" on Rx
CCBEC plugged into "rud" on RX

All Esc and BEC Hots and Grounds wired together and run to battery hot and ground. All motors are wired according to the manufacturer.

I individually plugged each ESC into the Castle Link and saw no problems (connection was fine and setup was accepted w/ brushed reverse) and just used the stock settings for now. The only thing that I see wrong is that I have not removed the wire from the front ESC for the external BEC.

When I turn everything on I get lights as follows:

BEC has constant green light.
Front ESC has constant yellow light with a slow flashing red light (~once every 5 seconds)
Rear ESC has a flashing yellow/red light
Servo has a slow beep which happens at the same time as the red flash fro the front ESC

Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong??

Thanks!

Try plugging the red wire back up on the speedos,I have 6 mamba 25s and 2 need the red wire to work and the rest i can unplug the red wire and thay work just fine.Do you still have the on and off switches on them? If not you half to connect them so thay stay on.

Yeah, the ESCs are unmodified and still have the on/off switches. I tried to program one with the red wire removed (for the BEC), but the Castle Link would not recognize the ESC, so I plugged the wire back in.

Are you getting the steering servo to work? Did you ping the radio to the receiver?

I get nothing.....no response from anything. This is my first experience with this setup and with this radio....what do you mean by "ping the radio to the receiver"??

You got to match the controler to the receiver get the book out or down load it.

Ahh.....ok. Will do. I bought the Tx used and have not yet downloaded a manual.

So, then are the lights for the ESCs correct? It would seem no.

When you get the steering servo working then you can program the speedos by the book.

Thanks for the help man. I made progress last night. I completely missed the bind plug. Once I dug that out of the box, then it was easy. Everything seems to be running properly...just have a bit of tweaking to go through.
