Default newbee question

hey guys, I have an oprotunity to buy a used clod based crawler. I don't know alot about these as I have a axial. I would like to go to super class. I know that it depends on what setup it has but can anyone give a ballpark idea on a cost for a rolling chassis? It has 55 turn motors and alluminum outers on axles that's about all. Any help would be great

The rolling chassis I've seen are between $400 and $500 so if your "roller" is used I would say between $100 and $250. But this just my opinion.

that is what I was thinking. He wants a bit more than 250 and it has a broken stub axle. Thanks for the help .

The stub axle will be a $10 fix, but he doesn't have to know that. Does it have any other electronics besides the 55T motors?

Anything like adjustable motor mounts/pinions? Stuff can add up in a hurry depending on the parts he's installed. Good luck!
