| first build need help w/adapters
I am not new at all to RC but I am new to Crawling and I got a pretty good handle on what I need to do thanks mostly to these forumns and all the awesome right ups However, I am goin crazy trying to figure out the whole wheel mounts/adapters etc setup. I been searching the forumns but probably missed what I am looking for knowing me. I want to run the JP Customs knuckles with integy axles and TTR cvd's and I want to mount proline 40 series cheyenne rims with Moab XL tires my questions is: What adapter(s) and or wideners do I need in order to run the sub-c cell kuckle packs on this set up any help would be extremely awsome thanks in advance. |

I know that our CPE-SPA7 12-14mm adapters work perfect in getting batteries inside the huibs with CVD's, but I'm not sure what hex the Proline wheels use. If they're 14mm, this is what you'd need. I think they may be the 23mm versions though. |

I am almost 100% sure 40 Series Cheyennes are 23mm hex.

yup they are 23mm i think this is what i need to get if i was getting them from thundertech but i dont know if I will have enough clearence then http://www.thundertechracing.com/onl...IP-CB14&cat=33 http://www.thundertechracing.com/onl...p?prod=CF-CB03 its a 14mm outdrive for their CVD's and then a 14 to 23mm adapter but like i said. not sure if that will give me batterie clearance (kinda lame that I have to buy those two things for a set of wheels to fit too :-p lol) maybe i should just look at a different set of beadlocks then for the moab XL's? to make life easier any suggestions that the tires would fit on would be awesome |

Probably the ultimate knuckle pack wheel would be XTM Thorns. From what I've read they are a bit bigger than a 40 series wheel, but not so big that guys are still able to stretch a 40 series tire on to them from what I've seen. Unfortunately they are not beadlock wheels, but they do have mad clearance inside... |
