Default Super Sasquatch

Hey guys, me again. Figure I would post up the build thread for my Super build. Im gonna name this one Sasquatch as it would be my bigest truck to date. For now I am going to start off with your basic clod axles and work my way from there. I think the first addition would be JP Knuckles. This is a custom homemade chassis that I based of a known chassis. Its simple, sweet, and its proven. I don't have the cash right now due to no job, so I figured I'll give a crack at making my own. So far I've spent $150 or so on the rig alltogether. I got the axles in a trade so I don't count that, but this I've actually bought include:
  1. Moab XL's
  2. Axial Black Chrome Rockstar beadlocks
  3. RC4WD 17mm Hex adapters
  4. CCBEC
  5. HS-805bb
  6. Alluminum C-channel
Right now the wheel base is sitting at 17.5in, which I think may work well around my area. 4ws seems like a must, so I am going to squeeze the hs805bb in the front, and use a hitec 645 out back. I figure the 645 would be just enough to get the rear tires moved around to find traction. ESC plans will be my Mamba Max esc, and the motors are 55t from what I have been told. Any info on baby blue Integy motors?

Here's a few pics of my current progress. I should be getting everything but the servo tomarrow so I'll update it then.

And the body...

Looking pretty good. I like it so far. Tell us how your homebuild chassis works out for you.

Well we'll find out. I don't have any weight whatsoever in the wheels so I hope that that might help. I do have the BEC with helps alot more. before the bec the 645 couldnt even turn the wheels, but now it throws them left to right so maybe they will work. If not, no biggy.. I'll just need to get some DS8711's

Look very good, since you have you servo set up like that, why didn't you do a BTA? it helps a lot
