I thought about it, but decided not to because I thought the plates might be too flexible, maybe if you used double plates on each side?

Kamikaze Kustoms. he's referring to the zero line of chassis offered by kamikaze kustoms, he's just not doing a very good job of it.

I am not sure...have been thinking about it myself...for a 2.2 miniclod but I think the skid would have to be wider 2 3/4" ish. to clear the cases and motors unless you run smaller outrunners which no one does anymore.

Why would it be too flexible on a Clod? It shouldn't be any different than running Berg axles.

I to belive he is alking about a super class rig.
I am a team driver for Kamikaze Kustoms and I am here to tell you if I put my Zero chassis on my super it would last about 90 seconds.

With the miniclod kits, you do need to run a wider chassis than the kamikaze's. I mocked mine up with an SWX last night, and it's just too narrow.

A mini Clod will work with a KK chassis
