Good start on your Clod.

That Jeep body looks like it was pre-owned by a serious abuser.

havent had much time to work on it. i made some wideners out of a set of pede wheels and put a set of swamp dawgs on and messed with suspension to get a little more flex out of it. it can go almost 90 degrees.

How did you make wideners out of pede wheels? If there is a thread for this I'm sorry.

i used electric front pede wheels. they fit inside the clod wheels and go on the 12mm hex. slide them inside the clod wheel as far as you want then all you have to do is glue and drill holes and bolt them for added strenght. i put 3 bolts in mine. its really simple. brand new pede wheels on ebay was 12.00 shipped for all 4. hope this helps

i can tell you from xperience that there is such thing as too much articulation. i would limit it some. otherwise it will just twist up and not put anypressure on the tires to climb up the obsticle. cool idea on the wheels!

It's nice to see that more people are building clods. Thats a great lookin build. But I agree that to much articulation is only good for pictures, otherwise it well just get you in trouble. Try moving the shock down on the link a little more. Or you could put limiters on the shock shaft.

You're not going to like the integy servo mounts. With a set of strong servos, there will be alot of play in the bracket.
