115mm Wheels... Like XTM Thorns and HPI Blast Wheels. The give better sidewall support for the XL's....

so you can just stretch the tires over the bigger wheel with no mods to the tire?

This is what I'm running... http://rc4wdstore.com/product_info.p...roducts_id=477 And they are on sell right now for 150 bucks If you have the money Vanquish just came out with some killer wheels, but they are 400 bucks. I'm waiting for DNA's beedlocks that will fit plowboys tires.

If you run the larger wheels you will have to narrow them down to work properly. You can't go wrong with either of the 2 wheels you mentioned. but I do prefer the look of the Axials and the fact that they are a 17mm hex and not a 23mm like the prolines. Not to mention they're beadlocks and you don't have to glue the tire on.

IMHO I'd say go with an Axial set over the Proline set. Seem more durable, easy to narrow up, and cost less. All the Axials I've bought seem to be made of thicker material and hold up better. The allen heads that hold the rings on are smaller, and a pain in the azz sometimes...but they don't seem to strip out like Prolines I have do.

I agree! They have a nice bond once you get the Bolts tight.
