what shocks would be better for a clod crawler t/e-maxx shocks? savage shocks? others? |

think placement and angles instead of brands. or just use stock clod friction shocks |

I like Savage shocks because you could mount them more vertically than 4" shocks, and still keep the articulation of a heavily angled 4"er. A more verticle shock reduces body/chassis roll.

I build my trucks with Savage shocks only. I like not having the cantilever setup. I actually changed over my TXT-1 to run savage shocks too. Much better now. I have never ran with anything but Savage shocks so I might be kind of biased. |

ya its all in the placement if you put the 4 inch shock at a nice angle then you can get just as much or even more articulation as a savage mounted vertical so just get a nice strong and soft shock and screw with angles....

when using a 4" shock do you guys prefer a link mounted shock or a axle mounted shock asuming the angle is correct ?
