Default Reverse Power Problem need help

Well I installed the new rc4wd gear reductions along with some brand new 50t lathes all powered by a SRooster and a couple of brand new gp3300..

Ok well my problem is when i hit reverse it hardly moves it's allmost like if it had a dead battery but when I go forward it goes full power walking speed...

I know nothing is binding up and i have full bearings so im lost...

Oh and does it matter I dont have any capacitors sodered up to the motors yet?

Any info would be great.
Thanks
Michael

Could be quite a few things.

1. May be the SR's reverse circuit is damaged (unlikely, they're a beast of a controller).

2. Could be that most of your reverse is dialled out on your radio, e.g. my X756 and 3VCS have both got a function to dial out reverse/brake using a knob on the transmitter - perhaps that's turned down?

3. I'm assuming that the motors haven't had their timing played about with to make them matched? Could be worth checking that the motors have both been set for 0 degree timing. If they've both been tweaked to provide extra speed while the Clod is going forwards then reverse speed could suffer.
