Default question on shocks

What do I need to do to select shocks for my clod crawler? Im planning on running T-maxx shocks. Any problems with this? or did I make a mistake? also how do I figure out the angle of the shock?

Maxx shocks are fine, look at the clod gallery and see what others are doing for shock mounting.

Ok so that works but what is the best way to mount them? it seems I have more articulation w/ them out at more of an angle but it just dont seem right. from all the pics im seeing guys have them more straight up. Oh well I guess I just gotta test it out!
